Born near the sandy shores of Lake Michigan, Dire Hinds maintained a quiet and low profile career. Working only at small time gigs at local venues, building an adept skill as a singer-songwriter. However, once a tenacious Erika Polaris, a mysterious but talented producer approached them, the two hit it off to form the electronic outfit ESWX.

So who is Erika? Well, no one really knows. Any and all records of her life before her work as a producer seem to simply not exist. Her personal life seems to be equally barren as well, only a few records of her name appearing across a litany of government documents and local news pages.

However the story goes, what's inarguable is the catchy, and infectious grooves these two produce. Bringing a mixture of synthpop 80s infused dance numbers and high power new age grooves, these two make sure you stay moving to their infectious beats!
